Guided strike was great in retail limited, but obv depends on quality and quantity of removal effects.

I see the slug as more of a midrange card than an aggro one. Can stall the ground early while growing and then be a good threat later. Could see be interested in it if counters are a thing (in black?) but there are probably better options. Cute though.

Haven't had a chance to look in detail but this looks really cool. I did a quick draft and one thing I noted was that noble hierarch seems really powerful here. Wonder if it's a little much? Will try and look in some more detail

I'm taking a minor approach to it as well, with only: feather, the redeemed hero of the nyxborn season of growth I think going in too heavy with heroic is a mistake, though I could maybe be convinced to run some more. Supported with: gods willing prepare // fight valorous stance faerie...

Not tried it but magus of the balance is probably less hideous,as more disruptable, expensive and is signposted.
