I acknowledge that those options exist. I've tested most of them at one point or another. I came to the conclusion that most of them are traps. I tried desperately to make Feather work since that was one of my favorite constructed decks I've ever played, but the density of combat tricks she...

Ouch. Don't know if I've ever been called 'vacuous' before, though I suppose it's fair. Let me rephrase: In my experience in the cubes that I have built, and the majority that I have played, any deck that would make use of a gold Boros card would be better suited to finding a way to cut one of...

It probably has to do with how our mana bases are built - I have not usually run fetches, let alone double fetch/shock, so the mana requirements are more stringent. This is also true of more traditional cubes that have a lower as-fan of lands (which I suspect a good number of the people...

So here's a question: you said you used a method to seed the rectangles so at least one card of each color showed up in each row. How are you generating the packs? An Excel sheet or something?

I have come to the conclusion that Boros is not an aggro pair. Both mono-red and mono-white are very strong aggro options, but trying to combine them dilutes the strength of both. I think focusing your gold Boros cards to be more midrange/control oriented is a better use of your slots. I think...

It's astonishing to me that so few people are testing Showdown of the Skalds, one of the best Boros cards ever printed. Although, this survey was done just prior to release, and I'm not sure how many people understood just how good Showdown is without playing it.

Weaponize the Monsters vs Makeshift Munitions Or if you're running a cube with a sacrifice theme and you don't have access to Goblin Bombardment, do you just run both?

Heck, every thread here wanders off-topic pretty much immediately. As long as we're soliciting advice on cuts, I'm going to cut Setessan Champion and Archon of Sun's Grace. Which of these do you like for replacements? Old-Growth Troll Realmwalker Fierce Empath Scute Swarm Roiling Regrowth...

Yeah, I've played a lot of Historic too. Basically all I do on Arena is play Historic and Premier Draft, so I try to base the archetypes in here around the coolest decks in Historic. Unsurprisingly, this leads to a lot of green ramp decks due to the last few years of Magic design. I was also...

Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord Claim // Fame Nullpriest of Oblivion I especially like Sorin and Nullpriest because they naturally cross-polinate into lifegain themes in BW. A lot of the Ixalan vampires are good in that regard too.

Also, I drafted yours and built a kind of neat Braids deck that uses Loam to recoup value. I'd have killed for a Gitrog Monster, which I think is a cooler card than Lotleth Troll by a lot. https://cubecobra.com/cube/deck/6017eefa090ca810584b8f7d

We actually had a thread for doing this, though it's fallen to the 3rd page by now so we should all be ashamed: https://riptidelab.com/forum/threads/the-draft-exchange.1252/ Anyway, take a crack at The Arena Cube, if you're still in the mood: http://cubecobra.com/cube/list/petesarena

General Kaldheim Cube Community Survey - tell us what cards you're testing!

Submitted. All in all, I'm testing 30 cards. 3 of them plus the pathways are slam dunks. There's also a good chunk of fringe stuff in there that might surprise me, but I expect to get cut.

They look *awful* to me. I mean, sure, they replace themselves, but the effects are all so marginal except maybe for the blue one they don't seem to be worth the slot. I'm going to put the over/under on the number of runes I run during Kaldheim's limited run at 1.5, and I might take the under.
