Card/Deck How to Port Constructed Decks into a Cube Environment

Hm, I think a viable method could be to translate a 60 card constructed deck to a corresponding singleton 40 card deck, and then from a group of such singleton decks to establish which have enough overlap to be able to make up the card pool of a draft environment. The criteria for what cards...

I think I would maybe give it more praise if it tapped as well as turning it into a 0/1 with no abilities, I think sigh has some good points in terms of the cards draw backs. I'm still really happy about getting more blue removal, though. I consider bounce spells to be "removal" as well, seems...

I would for instance absolutely run this in a UG deck, especially a more aggressive version.

Yeah Knight of the Reliquary does pretty well as a big dumb beater and a way to fetch up something like a creature land.-

I think we pretty frequently over estimate how many nice playables a set needs to have to be sweet for cube. I'm at least seeing a couple of cards in this set I'm eager to try out on MTG Arena.

Honestly I really like the runes, seem like they'd play pretty well with both equipment decks and "non-creature spells matter" decks?

Here's another one of the lands. I think this one is interesting in that it can be activated at instant speed, so you can potentially use it in response to a kill spell, or just chump block with something before sacrificing. If you run an orzhov deck with cards that already want to die, it seems...

I really like the pairing of UW control and foretell flavorwise as well, since control is all about being clever and being on top of the game. Hopefully we'll get enough density of cards in blue and white for this! Edit: Also uh is "foretelling" what you do when you exile the card facedown or...

Honestly, a potential turn 3 sweeper seems pretty insane.

Well I mean you're "pre paying" by putting a good blocker in play and interacting with the board?

I guess Kaldheim will have a 5c snow archetype?

I guess creatures with trample or flying are extra nice to equip?

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Meloku is really strong despite the steep cost of argmagedoning yourself ;)

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Isn't the cost of returning a land pretty damn steep though? I don't think I would ever activate that ability more than once a turn unless I'm going to be able to fully mill them out that turn.

How come? Legendary shouldn't be that big of a deal in cube, should it?

Also works well with Titania, Protector of Argoth, or Quarry Beetle if you want slightly lower power.

This has been mentioned elsewhere but the effigy sure (intentionally) plays well with casting multiple spells the same turn.

They're totally gold cards, but eehhh we've had gold land cards before that people have ran successfully. They take up space in a different part of a players deck, so they're way easier to splash for, so I don't think they're the same as a creature you want to play on curve. Plus I love playing...
