So I'm enamored with Risen Reef. What is the as-fan of elementals that you're going to need before it's more than just an expensive Coiling Oracle?

I just love both these cards and would find a different cut to run both. Edit - I like both of these way better than Abbot of Keral Keep, for instance.

It's very slow and the cost is real, but the payoff was absolutely worth it at least in the two sealed decks I had it in. I have no idea how it would be in anything outside core set limited. I suspect it doesn't get there unless you're super low powered or aggro is non-existent.

I'm on Thundermaw here. It deals spirit tokens and faerie tokens cleanly and it always gets in for the first hit. Plus, I just think the card is a classic. I have a soft spot for it. Every pushed hasty dragon is a Thundermaw reprint in my mind.

Risen Reef Okay, so after one day of playing with this guy on Arena, I'm able to confidently say that he is the Truth. Now granted, there needs to be at least a bit of density of elementals around, but the floor of 3 mana Coiling Oracle is perfectly fine. This thing with Young Peezy or...

I mean, it's very powerful, possibly the best card for limited in the retail set, but I think GRBS is pushing it considering the amount of mana you have to invest. If you can't find a way to deal with it before they put 8 mana into it, you sort of deserve to get wrecked by it.

The executioner was executed. So you have the spirit of the victim as well as the executioner itself. The executioner can then use its ability to execute someone from beyond the grave. EDIT - Oh, there were more pages where this was already explained.
