General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

These lands not only have three different outputs, but those outputs are dependent on other cards. It takes me too much effort to figure out the different permutations of mana I have available with these cards out. I that information to be as transparent as possible.

    The Board Game Thread

I meant I like Resistance least, I edited the post to hopefully make it clearer. 7 Wonders seems to have strong replay value from what I can tell. Its far from my favorite game or anything, but I've played many times and haven't completely "got" it yet and I've never turned it down, so its...

Camel up is the most new player friendly game on that list and Princes of Florence is the least. Coup is ok. You don't have to buy the game, though, its trivially easy to make your own copy. It has a strong "take that" quality to it. It has a much stronger bluffing aspect and a heavy reliance...

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

The goblin is pretty nuts, I don't think I'd run it. White War Marshal is a nice color shift, I would certainly consider making the shift. Artifact Abyss seems like a decent card if you want to run the abyss, but don't want to clog the cube up with enchantment removal, focusing it into...

Card/Deck Mana rocks / Colourless mana fixing

I'm still happy with my 0 mana rock format, so I have little to add. Constricting the mana curve and adding low cost cards that slow decks can use against the faster decks has made for more interesting games then allowing people to "brute force" out high cost cards. Environments with Signets...

    General Campaign Format

Back when I was younger and had copious free time, we did something similar. We would draft like 2-3 times the usual number of cards and use those as our pool. Every month or so, we would do another draft, then add those cards to our pool. We used the pools to play "limited-constructed". It...

8 red, 5 Black, 1 White, 2 Gold. Highlights include Seeker of the Way, Bloodsoaked Champion, Wild Nactyl, Gore-House Chainwalker and Viashino Slaughtermaster.

I've played a decent amount of Last Will and a lot of Princes of Florence. I recommend both highly. Princes suffers from instability at player counts other then five, though, a trait it shares with Amun-Re, which is my favorite Euro point salad style game. Princes of Florence is very good...

I like Nefertiti, very cool little game. I love the cyclic nature of the auctions and the constant fighting to de-sync your own needs from the rest of the table. The thing about 18XX games is that they are long and unforgiving, so unless you really enjoy the specific type of experience they...

Camel Up is a fabulous light game. The play length is perfect, the mechanics are efficient and the gameplay is viscerally enjoyable. The game does exactly what you want it to and its ideal for multiple consecutive plays. Visually, it just looks fun. Dropping dice out of the pyramid is cool...

Yeah, I have very strong opinions on these topics and I definitely don't go talking about them. Suffice to say the entire idea of breaking society into arbitrary groups and treating people in a group poorly merely for being in that group is a shitty thing to do.

    Sets [C14] Commander 2014 Spoilers

I run Sunder. It is mostly a gamesealer, but you'd be surprised at the damage it can cause in a control mirror.

    FlowerSunRain's Cube

I'm 80% of the way through a very big update, which includes: Full table 12 player support The disbandment of all squadrons, at least temporarily and doubling up the cards worth keepin Doubling up on brainstorm and preordain (or should it be triple ponder or something else stupid?) Rebels...

I'm considering Genju of the Cedars. Its nice in one way, because its in the right color, but in another way it sucks because vanilla fast dudes are a dime a dozen in green.

Stain on humanity is too kind. Reading that made me awful about having opinions that might seem superficially similar to his. I sort of want to shame a slut while she is leaving the house that she owns on her way to vote just to make myself feel distant from him.

    Sets [C14] Commander 2014 Spoilers

Into the Maw of Hell wasn't very interesting. I guess this is a mana cheaper and an instant, but it can't do any of the stupidest stuff maw does like target your Hornet Nest or Stuffy Doll. Its also annoying that this spell's "face value" clarity is so low and requires digging through not one...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Scales seems to be decent in my cube, but I have an many more creatures and effects than Khans draft that make +1/+1 counters. If you start at CC1 and support it all the way up the curve, I think it can work.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Eladamri's Vineyard This is one of those cases where being a creature makes the card worse. I'm sure there is a cube deck that can leverage this, but I'm not 100% what deck it is.

    FlowerSunRain's Cube

After much consideration and discussion, the "minimalist artifact theme" will consist to 3 cards: Goblin Welder Daretti, Scrap Savant Shrapnel Blast In the land draft, Academy Ruins will continue to hang out with new friend Buried Ruin. Double pick Iron Myr is going in to support this...
