I mean, I most likely have to try this, as there are limited options in white prowess cards, but ... it seems really tough to make this work, right? You would want to trigger it three times to be really happy even at lower power levels, right? Or are three prowess monks good enough on turn five...

These appear to be two cycles even, one at common and one at uncommon. I personally don't mind twobrid, but I do prefer traditional hybrid cards.

How often would you say it was hardcast vs. ninjutsu'd?

Thirst for Knowledge Frantic Search I recently realized, that I replaced Thirst with Search in my larger update in january, and now I wonder why I did that. Can you tell me?

Do you guys think having this token on an uncommon means it is a common token type for this set? Because I'd love that. Please give me 3+ cards that make monks! I'd even play a {2}{W} (or {2}{R/W}?) sorcery that makes two monks. Or a Doomed Traveler variant that makes a monk when it dies.

I know it's too late, but sometimes I wish other cards had subtypes for flavor too, you know like creatures. Sorcery — Ice Instant — Mind Artifact — Book Something like that. Would open some design space, where a card could e.g. search for a fire sorcery or instant.

I love them, they are simple, elegant value creatures that give black (creature) decks some card draw. Yet you'd have to be really REALLY low powered before they'd be too good. Of course they don't really hang with super pushed eight+ lines of text monsters from the past ten years or so.
