I know it's too late, but sometimes I wish other cards had subtypes for flavor too, you know like creatures. Sorcery — Ice Instant — Mind Artifact — Book Something like that. Would open some design space, where a card could e.g. search for a fire sorcery or instant.

I love them, they are simple, elegant value creatures that give black (creature) decks some card draw. Yet you'd have to be really REALLY low powered before they'd be too good. Of course they don't really hang with super pushed eight+ lines of text monsters from the past ten years or so.

I am looking for a card that fulfills three requirements • it can be a win condition, finish the game, • it makes you want to play mono blue or close to it, • it is better than Drowned Secrets and arguably Scourge of Fleets.

You know, A Song of Ice and Fire would be an UB set that would work for me. Also, the Elder Scrolls. Heck, even Harry Potter. I would prefer all of these over the next paper thin feelin' hat set (all your favorite characters dressed as detectives/cowboys/racers ...). For me, Avatar the Last Air...

Look, I couldn't be less interested in the Spiderman set, but I like this info if I understand it correctly. I hope that means they're getting rid of the ugly metallic frame. Maybe then I'll actually consider some future UB cards for my cube.

I liked the flip cards. Would take them over dfcs in a draft format every day.

I am looking at: 1. Containment Construct – might be a bit of a power outlier? 2. Floodfarm Verge – fixing seems super high value. 3. Fathom Seer – I just love a three mana 2/2 that draws me a Gush. 4. Secluded Steppe – essentially fixing and cycles for one!

So, as awesome as the Cube Open was, as long it took them to send over the results, feedback and decks to us cube curators. Which is why I haven't talked much about this yet. But now I've got everything and I can finally make this post. Yeah, it was pretty cool to have a location with 50+...

That's a cool card, but why doesn't she say "noncreature"? I just hope that's no indicator, that Jeskai is just casting spells of any kind this time, as I was really hoping for some white prowess support.

I am glad for every bad design here, as it doesn't push me towards using cards with bad flavor.
