I also play board games, though that occupies the same headspace for me as Magic. Sleek Schooner Sailing is my other hobby, which is distinct from tabletop gaming. Having to focus on the things around me - the boat, the weather, my crew mates - feels very mindful and gives a real break from day...

Any preference for style? Image search for “still life food painting” gave some nice Dutch old masters.

Rielle is a fun card. I strongly recommend her inclusion if you have spells matter and discard themes.

I like the flavour, that if the ninja is able to reach your lair she is able to release the bug to interfere with your plans.

Looks fun, but probably a bit mana intensive for me. I was worried that you would risk countering your own spells for a moment, but thankfully it is a ‘may’ ability.

I was right! Sleep with the fishes And Trainmaster was right that it would create a 1/1 fish token. And both Trainmaster and ravnic were right that it should have been a kill spell.

‘Casting’ a land probably causes all sorts of rules problems, but Brad’s wording seems to work based on rule 305.4. Except it would be ‘onto the battlefield’ not ‘into play’ :cool:. The reminder text is unnecessary but helpful. I totally agree that the Mistvein Borderpost elegantly captures...

I don’t know how good it would be for aggro to rebuild, as the returning card won’t be able to block until the rescuer dies. I do like the idea of blinking it, as presumably when it returns to the battlefield it counts as a new object and the creature returned from the graveyard can attack and...

It’s the “once per turn” that kills it for me.

Evolving Door does fit in a green artifact deck, as most cube creatures you will want to get are monocoloured, and it is an artifact itself. I still think it’s pretty bad, though

I just want the blue tap aura to be called Sleeps with the Fishes.

Regarding Junk Winder, I’d noticed the squirrels, but not the treasure or food (watermelon?) to reference the other supported tokens from MH2. I can’t see a clue, but that may be too abstract to easily portray.
