Already tried it, card isn't good enough as is in a typical Riptide list. I haven't tried yet but I suspect etb shoot a creature for 1 is enough eratta to make it playable. Card is good but you can't afford the *tempo* hit in our cubes to cast a thing that doesn't affect the board for 1UR.

Good article. Chiming in real quick to say that if you run customs and also still run champion of the parish, type shifting the tokens into humans is pretty cool. Don't make it an instant like I did though. Surprise 1/1 -> 4/4 champs aren't cool (unless they are in your format)

"Better for cube" and "more balanced" are two (possibly related, but) different things. Let's take her argument to the logical extreme. We're saying 1 is more balanced than 4 right? What if my entire 360 is Runeclaw Bear? Environment is totally out of whack. Green decks are busted AF amirite?
