It isn't as bad with 40 card decks. I don't mind a few shuffles per game, but imo it is one of Magic's weaknesses. I'm happy running fetches but I like having my green ramp be more creature-y and I exclude Ponder because its so unnecessary for that kind of card to have a shuffle.

I got some playtesting in with new cards. Ayula's Influence is absolutely disgusting in the lands shell. Easily the first playable seismic assault variant. It might even be too good but I need to test it more. At least its mana cost keeps it somewhat honest. Wrenn&Six is amazing. Got it down...

Seasoned Pyromancer could not go in my cube fast enough. Easily one of the best cards. Its a sweet top deck and causes so much shenanigans with graveyards and tokens. I think its just the right power level too.

Lesser Masticore is a little disappointing. I don't see how its worth discarding a card for. I also really want another persist creature with an ETB. Come on Wizards.

This set is too much, I can't even process all the new cards I want to put in.
