I think it is much more interesting in standard than in limited mostly because there's no wrath effect in limited so you can just jam everything you want on the board. I'm a fan in standard though.

Not at all. If you own a cube or play cube regularly you should already have a good grasp on the kinds of cards you want to be casting. I mean people who have been playing longer are gonna know cards that seem random like Seedtime but it's still a pretty level playing field.

You misunderstand. I'm not saying that there needs to be x of every thing precisely balanced in each color but if you're going to add in a multicolor card I generally operate under the procedure another multicolor card should be cut. And by better I mean more utility/interaction/splashier...

I feel like this is a format that has kind of gotten swept under the rug with cubes of all kinds popping up everywhere and EDH being all over. I think it's probably one of the sweetest most challenging formats around though and it kind of is a cube of sorts. It really makes you have to dig deep...
