agree with this sentiment. I think it makes for a better cube when you build it from the ground up. you get to really layer in a lot of cool elements.

Actually I hadn't considered Stronghold Gambit it's definitely got some potential. As far as Goryo's Vengeance I have considered it but I think the legendary restriction is too much plus I think you want your creature to stay around which is why Shallow Grave hasn't made it.

Loam/Crucible isn't really too unfun as long as you're not just going strip mine you go every turn. I actually find loam when it has the support can make for some really interesting games.

So far in the mock drafts I've done Elves is by and far my favorite deck to draft. You can do some pretty explosive things.

Loam is easily one of my favorite cards to cast. It just does so much and can be so powerful. I would recommend putting it in and looking at adding some cards that interact with it like Raven's Crime, Flame Jab, Seismic Assault etc.,etc.,
