I don't actually think Investigate would have been keyworded if Shadows Over Innistrad had been released today: I think a big reason they did it that way was because they had never done a non-creature artifact token as a set theme before other than as a one-of thing in a given set.

This is also a valid assumption. I'm just hoping they won't go the MKM route of making corny mechanics that aren't reusable outside of sets with a very specific flavor (i.e. Collect Evidence and Suspect not really working outside of some sort of mystery/investigation context).

Right, that's why I'm wondering if MaRo's comment was a typo. We know Basri is in the set already, but him and Samut are the only Amonkhet native Planeswalkers. What qualifies as a custom rule in this case? I was thinking about doing a Cube that encouraged people to build 5 color decks, but I don’t really want to do that if I can’t include fixing in the land box. I don’t think 72 cards is enough to add proper fixing otherwise.
