This card was too much fun in limited, I've had games where I wished for both off-color basics and cards to cast them with. It offers a cool incentive to play some dual-lands "just in case".
Correct.
It's a Disperse that adds commander tax to the permanent, so it's (almost) always...
Are all the commander cards revealed?

I was pretty excited to hear that the set would heavily feature artifacts with colored ability or alternate costs, especially when it started with a slam-dunk of a card in PDE, but now at the end I have to...
It doesn't look like I will get the prototype card of my dreams.
I don't know how convincing I find his statement to be. Making an artifact without the artifact-frame also feels anti-retro to me, and I'm not really given the impression this was a decision weighted by any meaningful amount of...
This is actually the deckbuilding rule for my homebrew card game.
It's also like half of the rules because I never figured out how I wanted the game to actually play.
Ostracize is fairly outdated for what it's worth, replaced by both Divest and Despise. The new discard spell still manages to be strictly better than the strictly better ostracize however, assuming you're not doing Dauthi Voidwalker or similar shenanigans.
I wish I could if only for those sick pants.
One part of the layout I really like is that wotc only has half of the text box to use.
I do think it's unfortunate that prototyping them is most often going to be the default, but that's not signaled very well.
Prototype has me hoping I can find a replacement for Myr Battlesphere I'm more into. Fleshgorger is close, but it doesn't work all that well with Animate Dead.
Hurkyl is kind of funky, I'm not sure if you want to diversify your card types or not, it's probably best to be somewhat moderate so...
hmm, maybe I shouldn't have made that post right before getting pretty busy and not posting for several days.
I'm happy some of you got some paragraphs off your chest though.
it's ok, maybe you'd play it in jund decks with w&6 or to trigger vengevine in graveyard decks, but on the whole of it I'd expect it to have minimal impact on most formats, a lot of decks have gotten pretty good at using their mana
Remind me not to use arena-rebalanced cards in my cube again so I don't have to deal with them suddenly disappearing from cubecobra when they leave standard.
Rebuy your tutor targets.
Trigger "leaves the battlefield" triggers.
Put your Thoracle on the bottom if you milled it.
I think you'd need an environment with a lot of tutoring or shuffling and filtering to make it more interesting than Star, which also works with other sac outlets.
I went in mostly blind and drafted a pile for you. Don't think too hard about my picks, because I certainly didn't. I think I skipped over a crucible because I forgot I had a fastbond, among other things.
Remind me next week and I'll see if I can take a look at their codebase and make a pull...
