No, that daze art is really bad. More like this:

I think its worth considering just because it makes enchantment destruction more fun and feel less narrow. Its so much better when artifact or enchantment destruction are not just narrow hate cards and have the potential to be value pieces that sometimes interact with a critical spell.

    The Penny Pincher Cube (360)

Wanted to share some excerpts from a conversation I've been having with modin, as I think its fairly interesting, and I could use some outside opinions. Thoughts?

I think the correct answer here btw is second condescend: card is great.

Daze is good, but the real money is force spike. The feeling of force spiking a critical high cc spell, and the look on an opponent's face when you do so, is one of the finest feelings in the game of magic.

    Sets [ORI] Magic Origins Spoilers

I know we are retreading ground here, but the power of renowned is that it creates must block threats. Being able to leverage that threat to narrow an opponents lines, and hopefully force them to select inferior ones, is powerful. However, if the renowned card is designed in a way where its...

    540 Card Cube (Semi-Powered)

I can tell from looking over the list that its from a certain era and school of thought of cube design. I would go to the main page and look at some of the articles there, as well as find Jason's channel fireball articles. Basically, I'm going to end up suggesting that you cut the signets...

Its much easier to support in a self-mill deck than other alternatives, and very powerful. Outside of that though, I don't think its great.

    General The Card Art Thread

Just added the sweet art version of liliana's specter to the penny cube Makes me think of some great LOTR art Check out all of the detail on the new nightmare art--never noticed the way the artist combined the idea of disembodied fear via the skeletons into the manifestation of the horse.

    Reject Rare Cube

Really happy to see dralnu in there, however I think phyrexian negator deserves a slot. I also think great cards like Hidetsugu's Second Rite should be a consideration. Just run the all painland manabase, that will be awesome. Or how about the depletion lands from ice age? Edit: You should...

    Rasmus Riptide Cube (360 Unpowered)

Because the innistrad theme cube has such a density of flashback cards, its actually really common to see a three or even four color deck, whose third and fourth color is just there really to flashback the reverse end of a card. Those cards were part of the original III set to give color pair...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I think its a pretty big assumption that this should be the basis for the cut. In addition, temp protection, blink, and pacifism effects are either not located in other colors, or lack the density to base an archetype around. Aggro is principally located in white, red, and black; control and...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

White is great for exile effects, blink, pacifism effects, and temp protection. More imporantly its also a foundational color for a lot of a cube's aggro decks. The overlap that it has is important to take some of the pressure off of the other colors to specialize in certain effects. Would not...

I kind of like deprive: its just hard to get excited about. Its a good counter with low cc creatures/spells, so it might be really good in your cube.

Drawback too much. Even if you provide a slower enviornment filled with conditional counters, temp hexproof, and counterspells, people will put him in the wrong deck.

Card/Deck Creatures With Neutral Card Economy

I'm trying to move away from the conditional cards, and find cards that you can simply cast and are card neutral. The cantripping ones are obvious and easy to search for, but some of the other mechanics are less obvious: discard when ETB, tutor on ETB, exile and cast, reveal top X cards and so...
