Some level of "oops, i win" should go a long way in pleasing the mtgo crowd. Add all of these big play cards. Crypto rite seems really cool. Think of the 540 version as eldrazi rainbow.

540 choose 360... how many spawn cards are needed for them to beviable focus for a deck? I imagine 8-10. So probably want 20ish in a draft to have a chance of it coming together. Then consider scions. Then consider spawn and scion as ramp/tokens only (no type specific synergies). No idea on real...

I'm also interested in their collation process and have asked the mtgo wotc contact. I think mtgo cubes use print runs within subpopulations (which opens up a TON of design space).

I've tried this in a very low power format and found it wanting. The tempo lost for the caster is extreme.

Penny Pincher might benefit from MTGOization... some of the combo elements could return to the population and not be guaranteed in each draft. MTGO players love trying to sssemble combos.
