    Card/Deck Birthing Pod

You could tag cards in the main cube and the sideboard, e.g. "Variable W1 (See sideboard)". Unfortunately, CT's developer isn't part of BTP and hasn't implemented any of their ideas. :( Edit: it might be worth uploading the 460-card mess as well. I know all of the cards in the spreadsheet, but...

General Cards you want tested in the MODO cube.

Hall of Triumph could be an "interesting" anthem (thinking it's black/red/white). I haven't played with Cursed Scroll in a while- is it terrible in NWO? I prefer Spellskite in formats with a glut of utility creatures or glass cannons; it seems like a wall in this format. About the partial...

    The TV Thread

I watch a lot of streaming video as background noise. "The 100" confounds me. It has a ton of ambitious aspects but also feels like it's written for teenagers. I also am a total scifi dork.

    General MTGO 'Vintage Cube'

I think it would distribute closely to a 450 or 540 cube with 10 moxen. You're right; they should be commons. Rares... would be something splashy like Yawgmoth's Will or cards that should be infrequent due to niche roles (Terastodon)

    General MTGO 'Vintage Cube'

I've toiled with the idea of a fantasy set with moxen at uncommon ... a retail-minded limited set to play at a very high power level.

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Thinking about playable discard. How does this rate? {2/B}{B}{B} ; Sorcery ; Target player chooses one: Discard three cards Reveal two non-land cards and put them on the top of that player's library in any order

    General Non-blue card advantage

We seriously need a glossary. Grillo brought up an important distinguishing factor, and a lot of the conversations here are nuanced enough that clear communication is mandated to progress the conversation. I only wish that I was smart enough to be quickly eloquent :<

    General Non-blue card advantage

This forum needs a glossary of important terms. :( Another thing worth noting: there is a cascading effect with "big" card draw/selection (assuming the time exists to cast it or the mana cost is sufficiently low) when it is available past a certain density in a deck. Once it starts, it...

    General Non-blue card advantage

This comment was mine. It should be noted that it was based solely on my games versus safra (and that the games were enjoyable). I would like to revisit this comment and all of the below after a good 5-10 drafts of Jason's cube; in my opinion, three matches of gameplay is not enough of an...

General Magical Christmas Land (Draft Format)

Maybe limit land-based fixing in the cube, add a lot of tri-color cards and get a tri-land with every card picked, Vivid with every 5-c picked?

    General [Design Discussion] Perfect Imbalance

I noticed this occurring in 100-Card Singleton around the second printing of the Magic 20xx Titan cycle. Up until that point, the format had been a niche card's playground. The density of hyper-efficient haymakers hadn't hit critical, and decks could play fringe answers that pushed games in...

    General [Design Discussion] Perfect Imbalance

The scarce resources during the drafting (deck-building) phase wouldn't create what I'd call a cyclical metagame, but it could create a dynamic metagame of sorts (especially given a finite number of engine-level archetype cards and mana fixing). The dynamic metagame depends a lot on the...
