I think Dreampaint is right on this one I'm afraid Eric. There is so much more to the creature aspect from a tutor/blink/reanimate perspective than an artifact token. I still like the rebirth but I think there's a fair gap in power. You're right re splashing, but that depends on cube content/design.

Are you kidding? Most of us have been loving the reclaimation for ages! Sceptical re the battle rage. Torrent elemental was insane for me at the pre rel, but don't think cube is the the right format for it. Even if proved wrong my opponents all found it miserable so unlikely to play.

Manifest still seems hard to grok. I had two write into beings in my sideboard at the pre release, because I didn't rate them, but if James is feeling the love they're worth thinking about more. They're more than just grey ogres with scry as you are much more likely to hit a creature. I guess...

Good stuff I played this weekend: Sherif of Nottingham - loads more fun than I expected it to be. Good bluffing game with enough 'gamery' twists to keep it interesting. Medici - still really good design and best auction game I've played. Potato man - great trick taking game, really good fun...
