Had a Cube night with my core playgroup since 2013 for the first time in a year (I briefly moved to Europe) and showed them the cards I was planning on including from the new set. They were excited by the new cards. But also, their eyes glazed over, and I could see almost all of them skipping...

I think it could be considered an un-fun design (particularly for retail draft, and particularly at rare instead of mythic) but I'm curious what you think is bad about the design.

I'm sad to take out Bone Shards but this is a Bone Shards that my playgroup will actually...play.

Bribe them. Offer prizes with no entry fee for the first one, and it'll get enough hooked. Make sure you communicate that the prizes are a one-time thing, but if other people want to "sponsor" a Cube night, they're welcome to.

It's honestly one of my favorite cards from the set so far, but yeah, I forgot to post it myself! Love that it's at worst a split card between Etali, Primal Conqueror and Open Fire, exactly where I'd want my beefier red dudes to be.

Seems real good. The menace and haste are exactly what you'd want to justify the ability only triggering on attack, and 2 damage as a baseline is incredibly sweet. Red 3MV creatures are perhaps my most competitive slot, but I have to imagine these goblins will find a way to crack the list.

Neat! I'll take it. I have 5 cards that use -1/-1 counters still, so no real downside to this from a logistics standpoint.
