    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Yeah, Cloudskater looks pretty broing to me, and I prefer other looters. Meloku's definitely too strong for the powerlevel I have, but I wanted to mention it. Soramaro is a way more interesting finisher than Mahamoti Djinn, but I also prefer Sturmgeist. UGx lands does have lots of mana...

Speaking of setting back land drops, there are some other cards I'd like to hear your opinion on: Soratami CloudskaterMeloku the Clouded MirrorSoramaro, First to DreamUyo, Silent Prophet I already play Living Twister, Deprive and Bounce Lands for triggering landfall/using lands for some...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Very interesting Card, works well with landfall, looters, retrace and value tappers. Now I'm actually interested in trying it! EDIT: I already wanted cards that put lands from hand into play as my primary ramp source (besides untapping land effects) but now there's even a nice value combo...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Low Bottom, high ceiling. Don't like that kind of effect. @ Monuments: Oketra's obv is the most powerful. Kefnet's would have been powerful if it would actually tap something, but that would've actually make it pretty damn powerful. Rhonas's Monument is a card which I find to be the most...

    General Fight Club

FoF definitely is my favourite magic card of all time, but it's such a strong card, and I want to create a nearly perfectly-balanced environment, and we do have interesting alternatives in Fortune's Favor, Epiphany at the Drownyard and Moonlight Bargain, if you ask me. But you're right, there...

General 1-Drop Aggro vs. 2-Drop Aggro

Personally, I'm on with Wx Human tribal, UGR Flash with lots of Werewolves, BR Vampires/Madness, Tokens, Aristocrats and Selfmill as my possible aggressive decks, though they all could take a slower path and play midrange-y or even somewhat grindy, really depends on your drafting. I'm also...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Discard and Selfmill hold their own, if you run some incidental gy hate like Memory's Journey it can actually get a lot better. Living Death is a wrath that can turn the game upside down, it's really a strong card, while Twilight's Call needs its symmetry to get broken, but it will reward you a...

    General Fight Club

Careful Study is great, I just don't run it because I find Faithless Looting and Frantic Search to fit better into more possible decks. As a blue cantrip that costs U, I always liked Opt. @ Scour All Possibilities vs blue Omen: it depends on what you're supporting in your cube. Spellslingers...

Yasova and Wild Beastmaster are actually cool cards.

General 1-Drop Aggro vs. 2-Drop Aggro

Uff, there's a lot to consider when it comes to clarify the standing of aggron in an environment. You are talking about 'turn 2 aggro' - I think Grillo was the one who used that or similar terms? - but that's actually not enough information to approach that issue in a serious manner. You need...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Oh yeah, as I do most of the time, I just post the ones I personally consider, and not what could actually be interesting for other people. :D Ahn-Crop Crasher doesn't look too bad! I don't like exerting a creature, but maybe that's because I actually never did that. Took a break from Khans to...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

What do people think of temporarily disabling blockers? One way to do this is by tapping opposing creatures (especially in blue and white), but another way are those red effects that do just that: Smoldering SpiresAlchemist's VialFrenzied GoblinEarthshaker KhenraBlood AspirantPia...

I do have a +1/+1 counters theme going on in my cube, including some proliferate stuff. Obviously, I want other counters to proliferate, too. Which kinds of counters do you run in your lists? Obvious examples are +1/+1, -1/-1, loyalty, charge and lore counters (Sagas). Personally, I don't run...

I can really see its uses, and I also find the whole concept of the card to be hilarious. In my cube, although offering a slower environment, this would nearly never being kicked or bought back, it will nearly always be 1RR Instant 'draw a card deal 2 f/c' and flashback 3R 'deal 2 f/c'. For...

I also like Super-Duper Death Ray for being an instant that does 4 damage and dealing excess damage, good for aggro decks. Compared to Ob Nixilis's Cruelty and conditional hard removal like Bone Shredder, I'm still not sure if Death Ray is good enough for my cube. Char at least can be thrown...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Gifts Ungiven One of my favourite cards to play with in Constructed (just like Fact or Fiction) because it is so skill-testing, but how good is this card in Riptide Cube? I think that it could generally be too good (reanimator piles with big guys and Unburial Rites, for example, or just...

Hexproof comes at a reasonable cost. I'm also thinking about putting Prognostic Sphinx out for it, multicolour sometimes is a very good restriction for a powerful card. Need to try it.

That's actually interesting. I like that Fact or Fiction 'cycle', and I do want some more disruptive cards, especially in red, and Bend or Break actually seems to fit just that. I'd appreciate it if you could give a report about your next draft if someone happened to pick that card up and try it. :)
