    Nanonox's 1vs1 cube

I see no loss in cutting Angel of Invention but I've grown very fond of the Gearhulk. It's one of the few chunky creatures I run and, despite its efficiency, it has never been unfun. It has always seemed fun to me and the artifact synergies are big. With it and Esika's Chariot you can get good...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

I think I'm going to do something unusual and that's to cut two sacrifice outlets instead of one. And I think my choices ought to be Flesh Carver and Diabolic Intent. Smallpox is not as well-supported as I would have hoped but I really like the card. So I thought about it and I like the 1-2-4...

I'm not into "the lore" so why are people upset about Tamiyo being "compleated"?

What I mean is that you spend one card just to bring it to the table so it's card disadvantage. I don't know, I just tried to play it in draft so many times and it never worked.

And which one is it? I don't know! I mean, I guess one of the spells is one, but I was thinking of the creatures. Carrion Feeder is out of the question. Flesh Carver is cuttable but he's a human wizard. Yawghmoth is OP and an easy cut but I also like that it's a bit OP.

Arkbow just doesn't work as a card. It costs you a card and doesn't provide card advantage. It also costs more to use than to actually play the creature and you may not hit it so it ends up being as expensive as Arcane Encyclopedia.

I want to run Mukotai Soulripper but I don't know which card to cut for it. I run too many sacrifice outlets so as to add another one D: Mukotai Soulripper

I don't know if this is the best place to talk about it but Boseiju, Who Endures is increasingly seeming like a massive mistake to me. The fact that all green decks now get a free mainboard naturalize/field of ruin at no real cost is the kind of warping metagame effect I hate in card games. It's...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

Some small changes to improve card types or simply make everything more well-rounded: Add: Lodestone Golem Containment Construct The Golem is a beefy 4-drop that fits well in a wide range of decks. I hope it boosts artifact, taxing and ramp decks. Containment Construct is very much worth...

It's a good card that gives Boros card advantage and ties into several themes. It's good for slower, big mana decks and also more aggressive ones as a finisher. I think it's a much cooler and more interesting card than Tajic. It is very strong, though. I wouldn't recommend it for lower powered...

Sigardian Evangel Isn't this an interesting card? You can just have a supply of proxies if needed and it seems more interesting than a straight X spell. What do you think?

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

A couple friends cornered me after playing at the club and asked me when we were going to play with my cube again. On one hand, I can just take it with the improvements I've made so far and it will work perfectly. On the other, I want to keep working on it! I just saw how you can boost...

Which cards do you like to enable or support super-ramp as an archetype? I'm curious

I couldn't sleep yesterday so I kept thinking. Perhaps I should support Superramp and Monster decks. They are very natural archetypes and it might not take many slots to do so. I also saw people use Lotus Bloom into Tooth and Nail and now I wonder if it's a way to sneak in storm cards. Oh no :(

Waterfront Bouncer is fantastic. It's the kind of card that is exploited on every angle: Bouncing your opponent creatures, your own and as a discard outlet. It's fun, too, so I recommend giving it a look.

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

Crucible has proven itself in my cube. The main reason you don't see it much is that it archetypes its best in, like Wildfire, are so well-tested that I don't have to draft them anymore. More over, the decks I test the most tend to be ones that don't want either card so they are...

Erik's "The cool side of Magic" cube

Yes, the question is: Do I need to spend three slots on this kind of effects? Or is two enough for my cube size? I like the variety, for me the question is if I really need the slots. Because a green 3 is a very contested space, for example.
