I'd be very pleasantly surprised to see a cube with a moderate power level be selected. For most MTG players cube is where you go to do broken stuff - fast mana and game-warping cards are a big part of the appeal of the format.

IMO it's mostly the blink payoffs, the ETB creatures, that are too powerful, not the enablers (an exception is Restoration Angel, that one's super pushed). If Venser +2 targeting Kavu or Splicer or Cloudgoat or Nekkratall or Wall of Omens seems like busted garbage to you, I don't think...
