Can't imagine having to face that card in limited. Especially with copy an artifact you control effects in the set.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I'm in love with Tracker too, but boy is it pushed. Onder mentioned Knight of the Reliquary; Tireless Tracker makes Knight of the Reliquary look like a hot turd. I think Tracker is a stronger pick than rampy cards like Oracle of Mul Daya and Shaman of Forgotten Ways, and even when your deck is...

    Card/Deck Format defining crap removal

Repeal isn't crap though. It's premier. Instant speed, cantrips, targets any non-land permanent. Best case you get a blowout on the stack, worst case you can cycle it for minimal cost and some sort of value. I rate it and Impulse highly. I like removal with a small drawback. My favorites are...

    Card/Deck Super Ramp cards

Nature's Lore is a pushed companion to Farseek, with some of the same 'prioritize shocks' play to it

I won a game against old Kiora emblem. And Stitcher Geralf of all cards was how. Cube is weird sometimes.

General MTGO You Make The Cube

I'd be very pleasantly surprised to see a cube with a moderate power level be selected. For most MTG players cube is where you go to do broken stuff - fast mana and game-warping cards are a big part of the appeal of the format.

    Card/Deck The Mill Thread

Someday I'm going to build novelty cubes where a single given card is available in unlimited quantities to all drafters. Gravecrawler cube is one of 'em, Mesmeric Orb is the other. More substantially I'll say that Increasing Confusion is one that can work by itself. X=7, flashback for 8 is 23...

If it's mostly fetch lands for Bloodbriar then it's just a poor man's Tireless Tracker. By the by I'm realizing that Tracker is super pushed in cube but I'm not sick of it yet

Genericco's Generic Cube Blog Spotlight Shitpost Megathread

As a dog returns to his vomit, today I return to the topic of Enter The Battlefield creatures. Earlier today in the Single Card Spotlight thread I suggested that the issue with 'ETB spam' is the payoff cards, not the enablers; in other words, the ETB creatures, not what spams the trigger. I...

IMO it's mostly the blink payoffs, the ETB creatures, that are too powerful, not the enablers (an exception is Restoration Angel, that one's super pushed). If Venser +2 targeting Kavu or Splicer or Cloudgoat or Nekkratall or Wall of Omens seems like busted garbage to you, I don't think...
