I think most RG decks can come by a second creature, and if you are putting it in any number of RGx decks that mess around with P/T they should also be able to get buffed. Just a bonesplitter turns them up to 11. But yeah, not "universally impactful" I suppose (a la bloodbraid elf etc.).
That is, I suppose, a relief. Magicspoiler lettin' me down....
Cute, but the effect feels a bit awkward? "if you are ahead, get more ahead, but if the opponent has a board, do jack"
I think it went straight into Zoss's head. Vampires gotta gather up their blunchies.
Still have a strong distaste for the [words] but if they're printing cleave cards like this I might be swayed. A well balanced thoughtseize variant is always a welcome sight.
The effect having decent value on an empty board is a good sign that this is a decent exploit creature (not overly swingy). As mentioned a really stacked slot...
And how do you mathematically arrive at 0.5 using whole numbers again? You are just swapping a different shorthand in place of using the division symbol (the decimel place to show you've previously divided 5 by 10). All the examples from mapi are the same. How do you actually mathematically...
Subtraction being an amalgam of multiplication and addition (so not technically a unique operation) I'll buy, but division is definitely unique. Literally every example given to show "equivalence" still uses a division symbol.....
Extremely used programs and many programmers disagree with you (Excel has 8 functions for just standard deviation variants rather than 1 that mashes those "tweaks" together). Because at the end of the day, things like this are really quite different, not so much "tweaks". You can have another...
Thing is all the specifically named mechanics don't do the same thing. Overload does one exactly specific subset of things that you do not have to read every time to know. With kicker you do, because it doesn't limit the designer to one specific mechanical shift. I can certainly appreciate...
