My closest guess is Yotian Frontliner, which is definitely about Standard-playable power level (I have played it, but obviously only in bad decks.) Rather than type synergies and unearth, Mite has "becomes tapped" and pump synergies. No clue where that puts it in the grand scheme of things. The...

It's interesting to me that - while clearly still an EDH-centric design - it does something different in a 40 card format (you likely get fewer lands, but now you draw all spells) than a 100 card one. I wonder how much design space there is if they specifically aim for that?

this is cool, casting it off eight lands basically gets every land remaining in your 40-card deck (and, you know, a ward 3 24/24, whatever)
