    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

That's a difficult question to answer. In one sense, Loam is a one-card engine. It is a slow, but reasonable source of value by itself. If your cube supports graveyard synergies, its stock immediately goes up as you're binning Deep Analysis and Call of the Herd. The presence and density of...

    General The Draft Exchange

Our first outing with it was in a Team America Skies deck and it did great work in that context. Obviously evasion and your removal suite will dictate how crazy it can get. It has a mini-game component which I find really appealing. It's also fairly easy to disrupt and can cause real tempo...

I've been taking a hard look at SFM recently as my cube has begun leaning towards artifact synergies more. bloodforged battle-axe was a big step to making it a reality in my cube, but I feel like I want 2 more appropriately powered equipments before I can slot her in.

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Got in a 5 man draft on Thursday. We drafted 4 packs of 15, burning the last four as there were a couple new guys to the cube. I do this as it makes things a lot easier for newcomers...you get to see more cards, get more first picks...more second chances in the drafting process. Anyways, I...

    Card/Deck The Gruul Clans (RG)

My set of three are: Kird Ape Clan Defiance Borborygmos Enraged Kird Ape is clutch for Zoo, which functions as the fun police in my cube, insuring that people don't venture to deep into durdletown. Clan Defiance could be something else. It lingers from when I had Pyromancer's Goggles. I've...

Agreed. Wild Dogs was almost a decent card for a couple of weeks about 20 years ago.

been very close to the chopping block for me, but I recently increased the artifact density in my cube so I'm giving it a little more time to prove itself.

Absolutely. I play entity and mastery for that reason. Mystical tutor is really perfect for setting it up.

    General Rethinking Color Mana Curve

Oh, I see now. I overlooked that number because it was thrown off by the way I categorize my lands (technically all my mono numbers are as well). It seems that I'm right around 3.00 overall CMC.

Is there an quick way to view the total cmc of your cube on cubetutor? My Cube CMC Breakdown is: W: 3.122 U: 3.102 B: 2.857 R: 2.735 G: 3.102 Multi: 3.5 Colorless: 2.543

I've been pretty happy with terminus and temporal mastery. Entreat and bonfire are the main culprits imo.

Hooting mandrills is great, but you can't cast it turn two off a mana elf, and you often can't reliably cast it on turn three either. After that, it's functionally a three drop, and great for sequencing with other plays.

The hydra is good, but not exactly my idea of no-nonsense. I mean to say something that hits play with real stats, and doesn't require any further conditions, hoops, or mana investments. Something like how Polukranos, World Eater or Deadbridge Goliath are to the 4 slot.

    General Ixlan Spoiler

Green three drops is easily one of the most stacked slots in cube. Even still, I feel like it's missing one good no-nonsense beat-down creature.

I guess this isn't the appropriate thread to delve into this further, but I'm interested to hear your logic behind cutting a generically power card like tracker, but including a card like this: Bitterblossom Which is a card that I cut from my list for essentially the same reasons you cut TT.

    General Ixlan Spoiler

Definitely a valid point. I'm reluctant to cut TT as it is such a great 1st pickable pivot card that specifically supports a lot of my green archetypes: Lands matter, Artifacts matter, Berserkers, and Stax. I find that it's a great segue-way for my drafters. It follows the traditional cube draft...
