bonesplitter trusty machete bloodforged battle-axe Evasion and equipment is a classic combo! That and access to cheap cantrips (preordain, ponder) and counterspells (counterspell, force spike) to help keep your evasive creatures connecting.

I've heard that the reason is that creature cards don't become creatures until they enter the battlefield. When you mill it it's still just s creature card hence the strange wording.

But it's just a mana rock. If the rock is playable in your environment the other stuff is just an upside.

The put-a-counter ability is also a nice mana sink for a draw-go control deck.

I understand wanting sort of an equal distribution of all colors and pairs, but during a draft it doesn't actually impact that much because if one color is overrepresented more people will move into that color. This is how it works in normal retail draft.

Usually easy to make a very modest splash for the ability as well! You don't mind waiting for that second green source while still being able to play a game of magic. I usually use the reason about where to place flashback cards with an off-color flashback cost.

My vote is for twister as well. I see the stone walling as a feature in my environment where aggro is already pretty strong.
