    OFFICIAL HEARTHSTONE THREAD

The whole "becomes human" aspect seems weird. Also, interactions with tokens in MtG makes this work a lot differently. If there was a way we could word it so they basically said "Put a counter on target creature. That creature becomes vanilla as fuck". Then we'd have it down.

Curse of Predation goes a long way in pushing the theme. Shit is real.

Perhaps we shouldn't use any colors, and define decks and strategies by creating a ton of tribal and synergistic interactions with creatures and spell types. We could even eliminate the mana resource part of the game and just add a specific value to each creature or spell so the ones with "no...

If Gnawing Zombie had that same ability for 1 mana less, he'd be amazing I imagine.

I love all these creatures and types like them. My adoration for cards that force interaction to get value is about as high as Sky City is tall. Is there any way to make it so the lifegain and sacrifice theme intertwine a bit? Possibly a sac outlet that gains you life or something silly...

I think Toxic Deluge may be worth giving a second chance. We'll see how it goes...

I liked it for a while, but it seems too strong. Taking 3 damage to wipe basically everything off the board that matters just didn't seem punishing enough for a black board wipe that only costs 3. I might retry it, but so far consume the meek does its job just a BIT better. It still has its own...

I've been back and forth on black board wipes. I thought Black Sun's Zenith seemed fine, but I didn't like the shuffling part. I used Consume the Meek, and that's the one I probably go back to the most but I still don't like it. I would run Decree of Pain, but is it too expensive for its main mode?

I admit that chain is probably too good for what he's trying to do and rolling temblor DOES seem like a good fit. But it bugs me how often quake is seemingly overlooked. It feels VERY fair, it is instant speed, and if you have a planeswalker-fetish friend, it will keep him or her in check.

I realized this point might be made, but my counter-argument is the following: -You can choose a NONCREATURE card, so you don't need to hit an instant or sorcery. -You aren't forced to cast it, so there's less worries about wiping your own board or overpaying for a 2/2 that probes them. -It...

I also try to always have at least one black board wipe. It is usually strictly worse than whatever white ones I feel like running, but it feels like it should be there so players don't HAVE to lean on white or red for a board wipe. Blue also MIGHT get this charming fellow since it seems at...

Nah, it's fine. I mean, you could add a colorless or 2 to the cost I guess? But hey, I like the effect. Now we just need a reasonable cost. Make it FLY!!! ;D Am I missing something, here? Cuz they look near-identical to the signets and I know I'm not the only one who thinks the signets are...

I still like to avoid things like Anger of the Gods no matter where my power is at unless I had it REALLY high. I guess I'll have to test if it gets noticeably worse in lower-powered cubes, but I still prefer either Magmaquake or Chain Reaction as my red board wipe of choice.

Hybrid rocks don't sit well with me for obvious reasons... ANYWHO: -The NEW U/B card still smells of elderberries. -I REALLY think we should just make a 1/1 with Flash for the G/W card. G/W has had flash before, and a 1/1 with that ability isn't terrible or amazing, so it seems fine. -The...

I haven't looked at your list, but you don't run many board wipes, do you?

I got lazy and don't feel like explaining things about each card in a paragraph, so I'll just make small comments and/or edits. Polymorphic Amoeba {1}{U}{U} Creature - Shapeshifter Changeling When Polymorphic Amoeba attacks, exile it. If you do, reveal cards from the top of your library until...

Okay, so here's my review: Spell Tax: I can dig this for the most part, but I don't like the idea that ANY white deck could have this ability when white should suck at drawing cards and shouldn't have or need access to counterspells unless it is teamed up with blue. Mindreave: I would never...

To this day, I still want to find a way to make that monster enough of a consistent thing where people will play him. A 9/9 with flying and trample is about as powerful as it could get in my current cube. The only thing that comes close is this dude.
