Not broken. As I stated the cost of discarding a card is painful at the beginning and a 2/1 is not worth it in the endgame. Consistently looping it requires life of the loam, for which you sacrifice your draw. The return which cost 3 mana is stronger in the endgame and nobody bats an eye.

Well, you could add cycling lands… The problem I have with the homeland is that it gives colourless. If you play two colours and you only have one in play you are still screwed.
