Am I just old or is Pyrotechnics that draws a Volcanic Dragon just sick? Seriously, it feels like it's too much for my cube. Killing two creatures and drawing a dragon is well worth 5 mana in my book.

How does it compare to Ninja of the Deep Hours and Moon-Circuit Hacker? It always draws a Virus Beetle, which is probably worse than most real cube cards, even in mine, but it has deathtouch.

Sword of the Meek A cool way to generate value and tempo in a format full of discard outlets, selfmill and small creatures, or just a fancy Riot Gear? I've never seen this card in a cube, but mine might just be the environment it needs to shine without stupid combos.

Yup. It's quite baffling, that it took them decades to find a good middle ground between "You can't touch this carnage tyrant" and "I trade my terror for your shivan dragon so I'm up 4 mana now".

To me, the terminate test is like a corona test. I usually want to have a negative result there. But in all seriousness, if every threat replaces itself, it kills the whole fun of ressource management. You'll just always have hands full of cards to play, no matter what you do. No more chosing...
