I had Sarkhan Vol in my cube for a while and he was kind of fun, but he gets boring after a while. Plus on any semi-decent board with creatures, he's an utter monster. Domri Rade feels like he has a lot going for him but I've never tried him out for my own. I think Xenagos would be a LOT easier...

Growing a Goyf is one of those satisfying reasons to play formats like modern. I mean sure, it's probably fun in some cubes but personally it seems like such an overrated beater.

Baloth seems better at first glance due to trample and FREE tokens....but not having lands to play consistantly at that point in the game seems like a very real issue... Meanwhile the Hydra provides a bigger body and an ability that will end the game a lot faster, but it DOES require a big mana...

Not many 4 drop black creatures are helping if you're behind unless they're some iteration of Nekrataal. I think it's fine during ground stalls since it trades with anything & it gets better in a cube like FlowerSunRain's cube(where removal is slowed down & battle tricks feel relevant)

Liliana's Reaver This VS. almost any black 4 drop creature you can think of. Personally, I love the card. I'm surprised more people don't play it.

From what I've seen in testing, getting chump blocked is only a major issue the first time you attack. Once you use his monstrosity(implying you use it asap), you have 9 more power on the table and chump blocking becomes MUCH less of an issue.
