Rats and vampire also gives the section the most unity and selfsynergy. Both has discard, and rats likes being in the graveyard.

One argument would be that mulldrifter has two modes which gives it some more finesse. It's not just a value etb, its a modal spell.

Well you're in the low power spotlight thread. I've only got some "proof of concept" decks on my desk right now that I'm tuning to represent the kind of cube I'd like to put together. Troll's in the GW auras / land disruption deck right now, so maybe it'd be worth to just try it and see how...

Or how about goblin welder for full on spice? :D That point about vehicles benefiting from utility creatures actually puts forward a nice way to get a kinda new sort of deck style, right? That you'd have more utility creatures that you'd get away with usually, and then some vehicles to help...
