are we all collectively forgetting reanimation? I think "poison" is being a little over-thought here, tbh. Large creatures don't absolutely restrict themselves to one goal like infect et al do. Poison principle is about isolation of archetypes, which a) doesn't really apply to fatties...

yeah.. that's what just about every mtg player I know calls it: Monocolor. Shape names are great, but if a particular name doesn't really add anything to the design process, it isn't that useful. I'd stick with the "industry standard" in this case.

I think that Body double and Vizier may be all that you need, but you can try the Hour for sure. It is really nice having a little section in blue to give those decks a little more depth.

cycles? who does that anymore? I kid, partially, but I do have a "cycle" of 10 that is just whatever lands I think work well for that color pair. Horizon canopy is one of them, so I can see switching a couple more color pairs to horizon lands.

I am quite disappointed to see this. Really reduces the interesting real estate, because its doubtful I will like or find use for any of these sorts of cards...

Find // Finality is definitely better than Gaze imo, but maybe slightly less of a ""Control"" card. It still plays well in grindy/long-game play styles, so I think it's a good fit. There are other options too, like that new Murder + Rampant growth, which is a good fit for a control-style deck...

Seems great in a sidisi/living death/spider spawning style of BUG deck. Let's you name a piece you want in hand (like Living Death), and then fill the yard for the effect. I like. More unique angle to UG beyond some flavor of straight card draw.

I'd personally much rather have fblthp, the lost than watcher. And I definitely like Omenspeaker better, but they seem to be in slightly different roles.

Red is definitely second. I personally focus into RWU, but I think it depends a little on how you want the decks to run.

This is a very difficult question for me to answer. Self-milling and the GY is an almost-intrinsic part of how my cube funcitons, so it's not so much about like rock start "payoffs", it's more like the fabric of how to make self-mill worthwhile. The density of the flashback, dredge, aftermath...

I do like that fountain. There is also that black version of strategic planning that is a nice color bleed.
