I mostly feel worried about the risk of adding too much board gloc.

It'll be neat to see how they'll use the exiled cards with the other Eldrazi cards.

    Rasmus Riptide Cube (360 Unpowered)

I'd love it if people gave the cube a spin (link here). I'm trying to get a grasp on the following questions: Is my fixing to good, where it is a trivial cost to splash for powerful cards? Do my color section lack direction, does there seem to be an in-color lack of theme? Is there a lack of...

I love it, rewards people for doing good sequencing and is a very green way to do aggression.

    Rasmus Riptide Cube (360 Unpowered)

http://www.cubetutor.com/viewcube/36919 New Update! With Origins out I reassembled my cube. The draft I did past Saturday had a Thalia Red Deck Wins emerge as 3-0, with only me on Esper being the other non-green drafter (That's six X/g decks in a 8 man pod!). This got me thinking about how my...

General Is too good fixing causing 3-color good stuff?

I don't have any lists sadly from that draft, and I'll post the cubetutor in my thread. I did notice though that 6 out of 8 drafters played green! The decks that got drafted were 2 Temur midrange decks, 2 Junk midrange decks, 1 Sultai control deck, 1 Jund aggro deck and finally me on Esper...

    Then what sparks drafters imagination?

General Is too good fixing causing 3-color good stuff?

That's a pretty good point. This relates a bit to what you've been talking about regarding power bands, I've been thinking about being conscious about negative space. Maybe people will gravitate towards certain decks if I limit certain effects to certain colors of the themes?

General Is too good fixing causing 3-color good stuff?

I think ultimately what I'm looking for is a way to promote a format where people draft more focused decks, ie follow certain guidelines I've put in there. I want decks to have more of a game plan than occasional synergy and more of a personality than just a pile of sweet cards.

General Is too good fixing causing 3-color good stuff?

So this is an issue that has been talked about here a little bit that showed up during the draft I ran today. We had a full 8 man playing my cube sporting the classic double fetch double dual (abu+shock for me). Every single deck was 3 colored except for the winning RDW deck. The issue of rdw...

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

That is interesting, because I see it as a very go-big deck kind of card. Low-curve decks doesn't sound like those who would want to win through attrition? I can understand that it takes possibly too much work too get it above firebolt level, but maybe it slots better in a GR ramp deck than a RB...

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

Was that a matter of the card, the format or a lack of resources during the games you played it with? I haven't gotten a chance to play with it but I want to believe there is a fun deck with vortex and loam.

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

I think it's a pretty cool concept. Like Laz is saying (implying?) it goes pretty well into the land-theme we were talking about earlier? The question is what density of land-fetchers can be run at a regular power level? Does it become too slow? It does seem like a nice angle for the GR midrange...

    General Fight Club

Some men just want to watch the world have posts like that. Doesn't FTK depend a lot of what else is going on in the cube? I could see where there's so much power and solitaire where it might not really matter as much. In most riptidey cubes it feels very good stuff.

I'd like to put more emphasis on big red as well, so there for sure seems to be a lot of great options.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Yeah. I think you can squeeze about three cards from this on the play? Which is fine! But it's probably really slow. Doesn't matter how many cards you have when your dead.

Delver is a fan favorite over here, so I'll stick to that. I'd run 2x Delver 1x Cloudfin, for the occasional UR/UG aggro deck. hero of oxid ridge vs hellrider Which one gets to stay?
