Is The Lord of the Rings part of the Universes Beyond that will get its cards reprinted in a Standard-legal set one day like The Walking Dead were and gets in Wilds of Eldraine?

Excellent reply and I would trust that it is possible. Maybe there will be a few odd plane-to-plane transfers of mechanics like from Ixalan to a robot world or something.
This would be way, way too restrictive to the design team. Very difficult to find a mechanic that fits the next set thematically. And that set also had a mechanic that has to fit the next one etc.
Brainstorm with me for a second. Which mechanic could we put into March of the Machines that could...

Yeah the Ravnica card frame is super interesting! Also one of the few we haven’t seen before.
I find it strange that we have non-artifacts on the Invention Masterpiece card frame.
Just like it’s strange to see non-spells on Invocation Masterpieces.
