Very cool card, the only problem is that he woukd be a virtual simic card as my other blue archetypes would have no interest in him probably. Therefor I run less explosive but more flexible landfall enablers in blue like Gush or the better than looking Cache Raiders.
Anyways, I am pretty...
Nope, and I don't want to, as it would reduce variance and uniqueness of cards, and most importantly give my another and in this case preventable advantage over my drafters, who don't know if they have a second chance to get card x. Sorry :)
My most recent "worst archetype" was {g/u} Landfall. It came together, but the deck lacked the ability to punch through and actually kill an opponent. It also had no 4-drops and got overrun by very aggressive decks a little too easily evey time. I now made a few upgrades/additions to the...
So you guys are actively using occasionals right now? Or have some of you before? In what distribution? With which philosophy? I went back to a regular 500 cards cube, as too many of my occasionals fell into either the "it's actually not worth it"-camp or the "I would like this more often"-camp...
CET is my time and I am really interested in doing this here. Only problemis, I am really busy currently and may not have time for the next ~4 weeks. But I'd definitely join the group. I'll get a discord account just for this. Lets make this happen.
Yeah, looks like a nice enabler for an {u/b} discard matters/madness/cycling archetype. Also, a 3-toughness 2-drop will usually have a few save attacks during a game. The whole thing is still "lower powered" of course.
Okay, I'll give it a try!
Looking through the unsets, I found something...
So, what are peoples opinions on this card in 2020? How good is it? How much fun is it? Do newer players have questions on how it is supposed to work in cube?
Booster Tutor
For the first half of this year I had the very lucky situation of living in a students home. There I had 4 friends who played plus my girlfriend. And since we were stuck at homentogether anyway, we did 2-3 drafts in most weeks, either with mine or a friends cube. It was paradise, guys.

Here are a few cards probably good enough to be playable in most cubes while also being simple and...
Why doesn't he just read "Whenever ~ deals combat damage to an opponent, you may return target card, that was discarded or milled this turn, from your graveyard to your hand"?
PS oh right, politics. Oops.
Thanks guys!
May I asked what made Solar Flare so special? It looks like a pretty regular control deck with 3 Zombifys in it to me. That said, I mostly lost interest in constructed deckbuilding a decade ago.
Hey guys, I am considering creating a 200-card pile for microsealed games resembling the Kamigawa/9ED/Ravnica standard era. Sadly I don't remember all the decks in detail and I don't know where I can look up the lists. So do you either remember some decks or can tell me where to find them?
I...
You could create a format where all the mana can be paid by something else
{W} your opponent gains 3 life
{U} you exile 3 cards from your deck
{B} you exile 3 cards from your graveyard
{R} you get 2 damage
{G} ... I have no idea
Morph and cycling are probably my two favorites in widely used mechanics.
Also, there are lots of nice cards with adventures, even though they just appeared in one set so far. I have naturally like 9 of them in my cube.
