I get what you mean.
Maybe this is what Wizards was going for though: A plane we revisit a thousand years later to see how it has changed SUPER much but still have some resemblence to the past plane?
@Chris Taylor
Thank you, Chris. I am often in the opposite lane when it comes to custom cards. I prefer only updating them rarely and I only want cards that I think are perfect.
The next time you are going through the process, can I pay you to do the work for me? :)
Design my cards using the...
@Chris Taylor
So you use Card Conjurer to design the custom card and Make Playing Cards to print the custom card?
Is this a whole new level of professional-looking cards I have not dipped my feet into yet?
I like it in low power where the cube has a graveyard theme of some sort. But I can’t personally see it run at high power with no graveyard theme. I could be wrong though.
Being 4 mana to dig into the graveyard makes the card useless. That’s it. Dryad’s Revival is also a bad card but at least it can help with a fetch land in the early game and have value if your cube has a self-discard theme or a mill theme. Or a Gifts Ungiven. Or if opponent has a mill theme. And...
Oh, I never heard that before. Always good to learn new terms.
People still don’t know if they should include 1, 2 or 3 planeswalkers in a deck running Yaqup and no other tutor spells. My guess is 2 is optimal but I still don’t know. But what if you have a tutor spell?
I guess it would be...
The interesting part of Frenzied Geistblaster is the deck construction requirement. Having to put 20 cards of a mix of two certain types is a restriction. And restrictions are interesting.
It's super interesting to play with. Especially during drafting and deck construction. Everyone who has played with it has become a fan except for our favorite @VincePendrell :P
Sorry, I don't understand this. Care to explain to me?
I agree. When we created our cycle of Urborgs, we still only...
How do you feel about including this Disenchant/Naturalize in a cube where matches consist of only a single game (thus no sideboarding)?
Nature's Chant
I take mine back. This is where I want to live!
Not only was it my win con in my most competitive deck ever, I also like it for the reasons you've stated. Only problem is Gruul, Dimir, Rakdos and Orzhov are trying to ruin the peace for us. Well maybe Orzhov also wants peace, just not the way I...
Welcome back, we’ve missed you :P
Yeah I think they have been doing really well with ward up until now!
On a 6 drop, sure ward 4 is cool.
On a legendary 8 drop, I think it should be hexproof straight up.
In that case, make a 4-color cube
{W}: Enchantments
{U}: Instants
{R}: Sorceries
{G}: Planeswalkers
And let creatures be in all colors (let creatures break the rule). Or green could be creatures instead of planeswalkers.
If you had to live in the fantasy setting of a Magic land card, which would it be?
Please comment by uploading a picture of the card instead of using the ci-mechanic because you might not get the accurate version of the card to show.
This is mine
Assuming I had a way to transport myself...
