    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

My next cube update which I've been working on forever will have a utility land draft. And I'm considering very seriously running 4 copies of this in that draft. Anybody doing something similar? If so, how is it working out?

I see some pretty awesome potential in a GB graveyard type deck, which makes me want to try it. But I worry about the consistency. What if you flip 4 cards - get no lands - and all 4 cards are all things you want in your hand and not your graveyard? How often does that come up in the average...

    General Breaking Singleton

Thanks for the feedback. I can't help but think there may still be some synergy opportunities by breaking singleton. Like brainstorm for instance. That is just so much better than the alternatives and it interacts with a whole heck of a lot (especially if you run multiple fetches or library...

It seems to me gravecrawler and birthing pod both really benefit from running more than one copy. Wildfire wants multiple copies too I think. Where I'm struggling a bit is finding that sweet spot where I enable a cool deck without adding too much redundancy (thus making it too good) which...

    General Breaking Singleton

So, I have been working on a major overhaul of my cube for months now. And I'm ready to break singleton. I've always supported the idea conceptually, I just haven't considered putting it into practice until now. I'm ready. Let's do this. I'd appreciate some feedback on this though because...

I was happy about that too because the only other options cost a bajillion dollars or have white borders (which I refuse to cube with).

This is one of my favorite green creatures. This card just hurts. Acidic Slime

General What are the best green cards in your cube?

This is the only Titan that I have seriously considered breaking my no titan rule for because it's ability is soooo green. It's also powerful without being utterly retarded (like Inferno/Grave Titan).

    General Popular Unpowered Cube Offenders

This is so play group dependent. There are literally dozens or cards that are grossly overpowered and yet played in most cubes. And if your group is such that they recognize and abuse these cards, they will warp your meta. You really just need to see how your meta comes together and deal with...

Faithless Looting is probably my favorite 1 mana red card. My cube has tons of graveyard interactions though, so that card is very easy to find synergies with. One of my favorite moves of recent times is looting discard Vengevine. Next turn drop a couple mana elves. Profit.

How much more attractive would she be with long hair? IMO, a lot. I really do not dig short hair on women.

Oh man do I hate strip mine. How did that make it past QA?

You know, if Haunted Plate Mail were a living weapon, I would totally play it. It even sort of makes sense.

I agree. If those abilities cost 3 mana instead of 5, I still wouldn't find room to play that card.

No worries. We are all passionate. I get it. I can tell you have a lot of experience with the game (more than I do), so I respect your insight. All valid points. And the two things somewhat unique to my group that probably really help to hide how powerful the moxen really are: 1. My cube is...

Wtwlf, is that you? Seriously, why all the condescension? I left MTGS to get away from this type of nonsense. I hear this argument about the power level of moxen a lot. And IMO, it does not hold water (at least not to the degree people often insist). Sure, a mox is a very powerful card as...
