    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I think it was a joke. The reason it is worded like this is because Wizards now let all cards be multiplayer (Commander) playable or at least have the correct wording for multiplayer games. The new template allows your creatures to draw cards by attacking and dealing damage an ally with a 1/1...

Certainly! :) Unless opponent has a Winter Orb or Stasis on the battlefield. Then they’re still the villain.

    General Designer vs. Player

Yep, exactly! The player has eyes on themself. Win-maxing and sometimes fun-maxing. The designer is responsible for everyone and is constantly evaluated by the participating players through drafting, deck building, gameplay and discussions around the table. This is greatly amplified if the...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

The following are my personal experiences I have played the game since it’s beginning and therefore also been around for the entire converted mana cost era and I have never heard anyone say the letters “CMC” out loud. I think that must be an American thing. They didn’t do it in Gernany, Sweden...

But that’s just fan words. I know we just had about 10 comments about CMC so it’s not fair I’m singling you out. But in game it will always be Converted Mana Cost vs. Mana Value and the latter just sounds more flavorful. And it’s shorter.

    General Curved Foil Cards

Oh man I used to have exactly 100 of those Islands in foil. Although some of them were from 8’th Edition but most were Invasion. It was my first cube Island.

    General Curved Foil Cards

I am of the personal opinion that Wizards actually DO want to fix this. And they started the process fairly fast. However by the time the world experienced the Commander Legends issues with foils and non-foils, the Kaldheim cards had already been produced months ago. And probably Strixhaven too...

    General Curved Foil Cards

Most of you probably already know this. Recent sets have had an issue with curled/bend cards. Especially the foil ones. See the picture for reference. Here are the tips and tricks I have learned so far to avoid these issues for my cube. There are two types of curves: Convex and Concave...
