I think Spectral Sailor is king if you support ninja's. If you don't (and you don't), it drops off in value somewhat. It's still a card advantage machine in the late game, but it doesn't help you get there, so... Yeah, I think I'ld actually rather run Divination over it in a more control-y deck...

I found that almost everyone plays humans or artifacts (or both), so most of the time you'll have a target. It also doesn't exile, so that Golem's coming back when you deal with the dragon :)

I liked Heraldic Banner in testing, for what it’s worth, especially in decks that have some way to generate tokens in the late game.

If you're going to custom it up, you could make it a Sen Triplets effect, where you can only cast the cards during your own turn. In general though, Telepathy isn't a fun card to play against, because having perfect information completely eliminates the bluffing aspect of Magic.

Besides the card looking like there's missing a space in front of the X in some places, this templating definitely doesn't work, because the "you" in the last ability references the owner, and you just switched ownership.
