Maybe sage of fables would be better served by being a proper size Novijen Sages, like a 4/4 for 4, or something. Actually, if it's removing 2 counters, maybe the :1: isn't necessary at all. That could be cool, and it gives it the hidden mode of being like 2UU: divination :P

Dak's Duplicate is something I can vouch for. Hastey Clone might have been worth it anyways, (especially if titans are available) but dethrone is suprisingly relavant, giving your creature the edge it needs to beat the origional some of the time.

Yeah Tectonic Edge is perfectly fine gameplay wise, but it's still quite expensive due to modern. What's the next step down? Ghost Quarter? Strip Mine? (Probably the next step down in budget, not in gameplay)
