    General Cockatrice cube draft?

This...went in a way different direction then I expected

    General CBS

I tried 3 fetch/2 fetchable, and it just doesn't feel as good, since a lot of the time you've got ones that only fetch one of your colors (Arid Mesa in GR for example) and once you've fetched out your one taiga it's a worse basic. Bad feels.

Put it in your sig :P

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

Both could be fine. Lifelink felt strong to me, not out of flavor (Thus "Then again 3 color card") Not even sure it's worth worrying about W2 I think. I've got a creature only version at W1 instant and it's strong but not insane. At 3cc you even avoid it being rampant growth with a fetchland...

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

Maybe. As I learned with shelter, the protection spells that cost 2 are a big change from costing 1. The counter plays in nicely with a bunch of cards, but it might be worse than drawing a card on the whole? The main reason I'm excited about valerous stance is the removal mode (Also wrath...

    General Blue creatures

Back on track: Frost walker is frustrating, he's one of the only creatures in the game you can't protect with mana leak, even if you want to. so in that respect, he's probably a fine creature, but he doesn't really play into what blue wants to do

    Shamim's Cube

    That is some sore butthole.

    General Cockatrice cube draft?

In terms of drafting my cube online: It's doable, but a pain. You kinda need to come up with placeholders for each (65+) custom card, and just pretend they do what I've said they do. It sucks ass.

General Balancing gold levels in a makeshift cube

In terms of raw manafixing (This means dual lands, not cultivate) anywhere between 10-15% of the overall cube is perfectly fine, which (No math behind this whatsoever) is about 2 nonbasics per drafter at the low end at around 7 at the high end. As for which lands would work, it depends on the...

Article Cube Design - Tri-color Cards

the zendikar binder at my LGS has almost all the white, blue and most of the red missing :P

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

That seal of doom play does sound tech actually. I agree that enchantments aren't free, but neither are creatures. 2B sounds + B to activate sounds fine to me though. Being go for the throat with "all your enchantments are also go for the throats" is a bit much. I kinda agree about holy...

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

Cube night was amazing! I forgot how much I loved doing this, and I think I even inspired some people who played to start cubes of their own :D Drafted with 6 people: RB Gravecrawler (3-0), GW Double Strike (2-1), UW Humans, (1-2), Junk Pod (1-2), RU Prowess (2-1), and GUB Ambition (0-3, This...

    General Fight Club

We're in a world where the stupidest cards are busted beyond belief. Do remember that this card is probably a 4 of in most of our cubes: Brainstorm yet these are banned in modern, arguably a higher power format: Ponder Preordain Strong? Sure. So's gravedigger in the average limited format...

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

Wait a minute my username isn't even Dandy_Lions anymore! (Which I guess makes sense, what with the vengeine over there) This needs a cost I think. Being straight Go for the Throat as a worst case is insane, and given that it's also attrition, nerf plz Actually BB1, B to activate does seem...

    General Breaking Singleton

Mardu Woe-Reaper will probably work well for the same angle if you like. I'm trying him out because I still had elite vanguard in my list. Pod is really good, but the main problem I've found is it's hard to draft: You need to pay careful attention to your curve, so if you rock a more casual...

    General Fight Club

Pfft Casuals (This card has been pretty mediocre by the way, I'm of the opinion all above mentioned are pretty shit)

General On this forum, how many schools of thought are there?

Some of this can be written off as the benifit of hindsight and the intentions vs execution idea, but anything any corperate face says can basically be underlined with that statement. He's just less subtle about it On the other hand, I doubt we'd all be here if he was bereft of good ideas...
