Most of my tokens are custom anyways :P The card is at its best when you get 1 per land and a few extra for your other permanents, but I really like how my cube looks instead :(

Try not to compare them to fetchlands, we know they're insane. The better comparisons are evolving wilds and other common/uncommon dual lands. If not for the fetchlands, this card doesn't really seem rare at all.

I will say you're probably underestimating blood artist. That card just being active on a table is a beating, even if only combat math is affecting it
