Hilariously I actually drafted UR wildfire tonight! :P
Mystical Tutor could be interesting, but it's list of potential targets is rather narrow usually. Card you're fetching has to be really good to justify the turn/card spent
Literal Zero mana rocks sounds like a bad place to start, but...
Probably in constructed. There's a whole deck built around playing dross like violent outburst, so I imagine this is just insane. Love the idea!
FWIW, Shardless Agent has been so mediocre in my enviornment to the point where I added a mono green version. It's been solid but in no way overpowered.
If it does, do you want narrow comparatively expensive junk like this in it?
Red guy is likely good, but I kinda don't want to encourage my drafters to play midrange when thats all they want to do anyways. Also I imagine the first time someone goes Elf > Him > Inferno Titan on t3 is going to...
I love stokemaw but I'm not sure we need it.
Chewy does make more sense in black, but
A) a recursive zombie this hard to get rid of might make gravecrawler really annoying. Maybe the 3 mana is hard enough though
B) Squee is essentially colorless anyways, so I'm not sure this changes much
Man wizards needs to do this sometime. Khans has a cycle of dual lands, but it's unlikely fixing in standard will be the temples and two enemy colored cycles which are both aggro based
Good to have you!
One thing I did notice about this is while it's possibly the worst way to introduce a player to magic itself, this can be a sweet in for the designer types among us. Channel Fireball is talking about selling copies of Starks List for 200$ ish, since it's mostly commons and...
Yeah it's kinda true :P As dissappointed as I am with new jace (art aside. Man he looks awesome!) this set looks super sweet. Wife may persuade me to buy a box
It's a mockup as far as I can tell, they just didn't have a full translation yet
Also, a friendly PSA:
With all the M15 hype, and it's general shittiness, it can sometimes be easy to forget our current core set, and that it in fact, exists
