It is, but in my experience people shy away from red a bit, so I'm less afraid of committing to a strong red card than to, say, a strong blue or black card.

In the absence of a true bomb, I think I would take the strong removal and pick Exquisite Firecraft, though I might also pick Eidolon of Blossoms, depending on how solid the enchantment theme is in this cube. I like card advantage :)

Ugh, a blue activated ability that grants protection from a color? Really?!? So you need to have two removal spells of different colors, or two removal spells, one of which has to be instant speed, to deal with this guy? I already dislike protection a lot, and then you go grant it to another...

Galvanic Arc has always been a decent removal spell in limited, you can always play it on the creature you are going to kill if you're afraid of the blowout. First strike is a relevant ability as well. Ordeal of Purphoros plays nice with +1/+1 counters already there, potentially triggering the 3...

I agree, and I think I would pick the Nissa. I expect the Vorapede to be picked up because of the raw power, but if it wheels it's party time!

Yeah, there should be an 'another target creature' in there. Though two together still for an infinite loop, but that's not a problem in cube, is it?

I think I would take Elite Scaleguard. That thing is such a beast, and there are multiple cards that synergize well with it. It even has 2 power for Reveillark! No one else posting a pack? I'm going to post another pack myself if you don't do something! :p
