Rushing River is way more awesome than you'ld realize on face value. I probably have to add that to my cube myself to be honest :) The spider dilemma hinges on the number of large flyers in your cube I think. Pincer Spider is a better creature most of the time is my guess. It played really well...

Well... Only one way to find out for sure, right? Both spells are only good while you're ahead, and both favor weenie strategies, in the sense that after resolving the spell, you'll only cast one- and two-drops for a while. They're pretty similar I think.

That doesn't work the way you think it does. Unmorphing a creature isn't an activated ability, it's a special ability that doesn't use the stack.

You also have to remember that the 5-mana "rule" is not about only unmorphing for 5 mana or more, it's about morphs not being able to kill morphs before you reach five mana. I think Khans was a better environment as far as accomodating morphs go than Onslaught, so there might be some merit to...
