i love that Hard Evidence gives you: a creature token a replacement card a Magecraft trigger 1/4 of the way to Delirium 1/3 of the way to Metalcraft 1/5 of the way to Tasigur a Snapcaster target ... and plenty other stuff i’m not thinking of, for ONE MANA

I agree with this. any fair environment with a traditional curve (IE, would play actual Mulldrifter) probably would have this card be a dud in 99% of games and then feel absolutely bonkers the one time it goes. I don’t really understand most “unfair” environments, but i think cubes that are...

i don’t think it’s impossible at all in my environment, but certainly not something you can do repeatedly. so i want to see how often it happens the first time.

glad somebody has started the conversation on Captain Ripley Vance. i think it is probably not actually very good, because even getting ONE cannon blast is going to be challenging. however, if you can trigger even one blast, i think a 4/3 for 3 that flame slashes something is a pretty good rate...

oh yeah, design is quite good, i would like to see more variations on it in the near future

my problem with marauder is the token spam. i’m on Clarion Spirit, Hero of Precinct One, Hangarback Walker, Jolrael, Pyromancer, Sedgemoor Witch... it’s gonna get bricked often

yeah while i love a 2 mana cascade, the body makes it very narrow. would have loved this effect on, like, a 2 mana wargear or lightning strike variant
