man I should really read this whole thread but I am finding that seriously hard to believe, though I think guilded lotus is probz bunk in most environments anyway. Meteorite seems like development shit in the chocolate ice cream though, but it looked just wrong enough that most people avoided it.

I checked and black and dragons don't really come together a lot outside of Kokusho, who was a much more fun card in formats where you could play them in multiples and when the game had different rules entirely.

How far to go with trinket/tinker/welder is a really good question. Personally I find Auriok Salvagers + Spellbomb horrible in tribal formats and entertaining in cube (initial human tribal decks were trinket mage decks).

Well I like normal tinker too, but when I think bad tinker I think giving your tinkers the ability to get wurmcoil or battlesphere strength cards. More like fetching O-stones, skull clamps, triskellions, equipment, or staff.
