General (MKM, MKC, CLU) Murders at Karlov Manor Testing/Includes Mega Thread!

I mean TBH I do creature/noncreature in my spreadsheet, and categorize things as realistic rather than literal (lingering souls is a creature, bone shredder is a noncreature, etc) I kinda want to switch to "Threat" vs "Nonthreat" because despite the typeline, sulfuric vortex and cards like it...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Magic rules engine as written, scorch won't count itself, right? It'll be on the stack, not in the graveyard?

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

New Arts: --> --> --> --> --> This last one matters a bit less but it looks less photorealistic so I think it fits better. Full album is here, I realized I hadn't updated the visual spoiler in a while, I'd just been uploading patch notes.

You know I'm not gonna lie, when I read this the first time I thought this was a meme that all sets were gonna be crossover IP from this point onward. No more magic sets using original designs

Sets (OTJ) Outlaws of Thunder Junction Previews

Oh yeah nobody posted this yet: Nathan's invitational card I'm kinda in! I'm always in dire need of good blue creatures, and evasive creatures that reward you for playing cantrips or interaction that can still block (even if it'll likely be as an 0/3) is a convincing package I'm gonna put...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

I think what Brad's saying is they're a type of land (they're basic, you can grab a fistfull from the basic land box, etc) but they don't provide a 6th land type. Type of Land vs Land Type, if you will. You could just put barry's land in. It has some knockon effects, but not a ton.

    General Dual and Triple Lands

I'm gonna put this in a separate post because I wanted to section it off from the Frank Karsten thing: Why is splashing considered a downside to you? Like if my RW drafter has an otherwise fine deck, but they get to put dark confident in it, that's cool, right? That's a good thing? It...

    General Dual and Triple Lands

Yes! Good link, Frank Karsten is the foundational text of all this math we're talking about Anyone who hasn't read this, I know it's very statisticy (tm), but there's a wealth of good information here, both for magic more broadly and for limited (read: cube) more specifically Here's the chart...

Sets (OTJ) Outlaws of Thunder Junction Previews

I know why you get to cast nonland permanents, firing off your opponents interaction is probably too easy a game for a 1 drop But it does curb a lot of the excitement of this card. Barring sheninigans like seal of fire you're probably casting their creatures, if anything else. I thought this...
