    General Rectangle Signups: Inscho's Cube

I'm obviously happy to draft, but I don't play online. I'm fine spectating if there's another person that wants to participate and can play.

No joke, my primer draft includes a link to the 2001 extended metagame :D

Guide was maybe a poor choice of words...I don’t want to instruct people how to draft my cube For some context...Several people in my group have/had their own cubes and can appreciate it from a design perspective. All have some experience with cubing and may come to a draft with expectations...

Cool, yeah....maybe I’ll stick with that but with more accompanying text about the cube. It seemed like people enjoyed it. I suppose I can also select cards so that when you look at all of the archetypes of a guild next each other you see more intersections and possibilities beyond what is...

Right. Finding an adequate way of organizing the information is just so challenging. There's so much to say and so many ways to say it! I feel you. I'm currently differentiating between mill vs self-mill vs dredge, discard vs looting, recursion vs reanimation, hand flicker vs blink...lol All...

Experimental Frenzy is also fun with Exploration effects. I'm a fan. I should reconsider it for my cube as cards in hand easily become cards in the yard to profit from. Similar to Onyx, there's: Guttersnipe Which doesn't count copies, but is cheap and can end games quickly if left on the board.

Just bumping this question, because I'm still curious to see which guide formats have been the most useful/enjoyable for folks. I really enjoyed using the archetype snapshot format in the past like: Madness Berserkers: Aggressive deck converting Wheel effects to bursts of damage Wild Mongrel...

I just realized how crazy this is with: Become Immense +12/+12! and delve in general: Murderous Cut Dig through Time Magmatic Sinkhole etc

That's what so great about the card. If your format can afford a 6cmc enchantment that doesn't immediately impact the board, it will completely transform a spells deck by itself.

Storm as an actual win-con demands a lot of cube space. Maybe your cube already has many of those components so it would be less disruptive. But routinely firing off a crow storm with >5 copies is going to take some work. That said, this can be inserted into a fairly standard spells matters...

Hm...Lich is more interesting as an engine piece to me. I think it has a little more play to it with proper support. It might just be a question of how much real estate you would be willing to alter for the Lich. I'm not sure I would prefer it over Betrayal if Lich is more of a value dude...I...

Havengul Lich is very underrated at lower power levels imo. Extra fun if you have some 5c enablers to reliably cast out of your opponent's yard

What are your favorite examples of guides/intros that people have written for their cubes? I'm in the process of updating my cube guide, and finding that my previous format is not really relevant to my current design goals.

Right. I cast a pretty wide net, because you use some offbeat stuff. You never know when the Stuffy Doll combo deck is the final piece of the puzzle.

There’s a lot of good ones. You could start a thread for these types of creatures. I think safra started a thread for creatures with tap effects, but that’s pretty old and doesn’t cover ones that self-sac and have non-tapping abilities. Or I can throw a list here of my favs when I’m at a computer

    General "Looking for a card"-Thread

I really like Scrap Trawler It helps reinforce things like Trinket Mage, Emry, Lurker of the Loch and Goblin Engineer. Great for recurring baubles and spellbombs. Can snag larger things with Feldon tokens. It does require a reasonable density of artifacts to be useful as an engine, but...
