    Sets (M21) Testing/Includes

Do you like Radha more than Living Twister or Wrenn and Six? I'm having trouble balancing the amount of three drops in the various lands decks. Twister at times feels a little on the nose flinging lands and surviving wildfires. I definitely like the oracle of mul daya mode on radha over the...

Good to know it was helpful. One of the things I didn't love about the old format of organizing information was that a portion of the decks were pretty fringey. Like Oath of Druids can't exactly be a primary archetype when you have one copy of the card in the cube. It also felt a bit like a...

I'm looking for a new way to articulate the structure of my cube for my thread. What are your favorite ways to format this information? Which cube posts have been the most successful and helpful for you? In my last version of the GCC, I listed each archetype and included a sampling of cards...

Oracle is much more versatile. The only time I really prefer Lab man is if the self mill deck is straight up combo and you need the static effect admidst a bunch of wheel effects etc. Being a baseline omenspeaker is very handy, and the decks that want this effect tend to prefer the defensive...

    Sets (JMP) Jumpstart Testing/Includes Thread

Includes: scholar of the lost trove I'm a big fan of scholar. It slots in well with my sneak suite: Apprentice Necromancer, Makeshift Mannequin, Sneak Attack, Feldon of the Third Path. Works great in welder strategies, ramp, and control. Easy include for me. Testing: kels, fight fixer...

I flip between running Phoenix of Ash which has broader appeal and Flamewake which has spicier lines of play. Although, they have some play off of each other. Lightning Phoenix feels a little clunky....having haste, but not resurrecting until your end step. It'd be great to lightning bolt your...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

I'm a fan of Jadelight Ranger, it intersects counters, lands, graveyards, blink...fetchable with recruiter of the guard, milita bugler, recurs with reveillark, unearth, etc. You can finesse it a little with scry effects. The only knocks against is being a green three drop when there's so many...

It should be slightly worse in a normal riptide lab cube than Gearhulk, right? I could see it being much better in more powerful cubes. It may be better in my cube than Torrential....hm

Card/Deck Topdeck Matters: The Heart of the Cards

I've always liked the simple interaction between the temples and the explore creatures Merfolk Branchwalker Jadelight Ranger Now there is also: Verge Rangers Radha, Heart of Keld (Radha, Heart of Keld) and I've always liked: Vizier of the Menagerie

I'm really interested in Scholar of the Lost Trove. Good reanimator target, plays well with feldon of the third path, sneak attack, welders, spells matter, ramp....feels like a slightly more fair Torrential Gearhulk that and the new Waker of Waves could round out my blue finishers

I really like this card for blue based tempo decks: time of ice It plays well with white’s tapping effects Like law-rune enforcer and gives more play to pestermite. In general I like the way it shapes game play

I agree. I'd really like the discard deck to have more pivot appeal....there's also Waste Not for narrow discard payoff. right now, my favorite support for the archetype is probably Raiders' Wake which is too low powered to my cube

I see. Yeah, if it triggered on both sides of the table, it'd be pretty insane
